These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of WallpaperTrove ("the Service"), operated at wallpapertrove.org. By using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

WallpaperTrove is a free wallpaper gallery that aggregates and displays high-resolution desktop and mobile wallpapers for personal, non-commercial download. The Service is provided free of charge and may be browsed without creating an account. Some features - such as saving favourites, following collections, and uploading content - require a registered account.

2. Permitted & Prohibited Use

You may

Browse, preview, and download wallpapers for personal, non-commercial use on your own devices.
Create a free account to access additional features such as favourites and uploads.
Share links to individual wallpapers or to the site on social media or personal websites.
Use a reasonable number of requests per session consistent with normal human browsing.

You may not

Use the Service for any commercial purpose - including reselling downloads, using wallpapers in paid products, or sublicensing images - without explicit written permission from both us and the original creator.
Scrape, crawl, mirror, or bulk-download content in a way that disrupts the Service, circumvents rate limits, or places excessive load on our servers.
Upload, transmit, or distribute malicious software, harmful content, or material that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, or sexually exploitative.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, its databases, or underlying infrastructure.
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to create accounts, simulate user actions, or impersonate another user or entity.
Claim ownership of or relicense wallpapers you did not create.
Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notices, attribution links, or source credits attached to content.
Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to probe vulnerabilities of the Service or its associated networks.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any user or IP address that violates these rules, without prior notice.

3. Intellectual Property

All wallpaper images displayed on WallpaperTrove remain the intellectual property of their respective creators and are subject to each creator's chosen licence. We aggregate these images for discovery and personal enjoyment only. By downloading a wallpaper you agree to respect the original creator's rights and the licence under which they published the work (e.g. Creative Commons, personal-use-only, or full copyright). When in doubt, do not use an image commercially.

The WallpaperTrove name, logo, website design, original code, and database structure are our property and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without our prior written permission.

4. Copyright & DMCA

We respect intellectual property rights and respond promptly to valid copyright notices. If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, please send a written DMCA notice containing all of the following:

Your full name and contact information (email address, mailing address, and phone number).
A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
The specific URL(s) on wallpapertrove.org where the infringing material appears.
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

Submitting a false or bad-faith DMCA notice may expose you to liability under applicable law.

5. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering you represent that you meet this age requirement. You are solely responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
All activity that occurs under your account.
Notifying us immediately at hello@wallpapertrove.org if you believe your account has been compromised.

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate any account that violates these Terms or that we determine, at our sole discretion, poses a risk to the Service or other users.

6. User-Submitted Content

If you upload wallpapers or other content to WallpaperTrove, you represent and warrant that:

You are the original creator of the content, or you have obtained all necessary rights and licences to upload and share it.
The content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any applicable law.
The content does not contain malware, adult-only material, hate speech, or any other content that violates these Terms.

By uploading content you grant WallpaperTrove a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display and serve that content to users of the Service. You retain full ownership of your work and may request removal at any time by contacting us or deleting it from your account.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, WallpaperTrove expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Use the Service at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WallpaperTrove and its operators, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind - including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses - arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service, regardless of whether such damages were foreseeable or we were advised of the possibility thereof.

9. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or permanently discontinue the Service, or any part thereof, at any time and without prior notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation. Where reasonably practicable we will give registered users advance notice of planned significant changes.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our practices, the Service, or applicable law. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of those Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is domiciled, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
